With president Obama, America can be her best, as he has been, with a campaign that was sincere, consistent, positive and unifying. We see a man with the deepest dedication to his family and country, a man with a brilliant mind who shows uncommon grace and style while facing down challenges with strength that is drawn from the limitless well of his determination to do the right things. Yes we must always hold our leaders accountable, watch vigilantly over our government, and debate our issues with reason and vigor, yet it is for us all to be one America, for we have no reason not to follow the strong leadership and the good examples he is setting.
Congratulations and thank you to all who have helped earn this great victory. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with such a group of wonderful people on this legendary and historic campaign. Beyond a political victory, it shines as an affirmation of our highest values and of the core principles that this nation was founded on. Our work in Georgia, and the gains it produced, continues to be very important in laying the foundation for ongoing work to build competence and integrity in Georgia politics. This site will continue to chronicle and support the Obama presidency, and will begin work in support of the mid term races and towards the 2012 re-election campaign. Thanks all! JP Crisan.
Friday's GOTV event in Greensboro was highly successful. Having accomplished the following goals, we are now poised for the BIG event ... Get out the vote in Greene Co. on Election Day! Here's what we did with 12 volunteers:
We demonstrated that it's possible to do what needs to be done for getting out the vote on Election Day. But we are going to need many more than 12 pairs of feet on the ground on Nov 4th. Please sign-up to help by following one or the other, not both, of these links:
Car pool from Watkinsville to Greensboro on Election Day http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/gsh7yq
Or drive directly to Greensboro on Election Day http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/gsh77s
This will be an unforgettable experience. We can actually make the difference on whether Obama wins Georgia!!!
